Kyu, and everyone at this company was professional and easy to work with, including Claudio and Mark, who helped coordinate different parts of our project. There are a few things that really stuck out to me in working with Kyu and his team. Responsiveness – any call, email, text, question, or issue, was responded to, quickly and professionally, including even when Kyu was on vacation. Diligence – if Kyu said he would be at my house at a certain time and day, he was there, and on time. If he said a person or crew was coming on a certain time and day, they were there, and on time (if not early). I was updated throughout the project regarding materials delivery dates/delays, and start dates of the different phases. The timeline for our project was adhered to as laid out in our contract as well. Quality – I was impressed throughout the project at the quality of the work and the different team’s craftsmanship, specializing in different aspects of the project. The work all turned out beautifully – there are some very talented people at this company. Value – I got 6 quotes for the gutter work, and 4 for the home remodeling work. MHX Designs quote aligned exactly with what I expected and was very fair, especially in today’s market. There is also no gimmicks or hidden fees/costs which I had seen other contractors try to sneak in. I was honestly kind of dreading having this major, but needed, project done at my home. I feel lucky to have found this company, and couldn’t have been more surprised and pleased with how easy this project turned out to be on my end. In partnering with MHX Designs, especially Kyu, he helped transform my project and vision into reality, by carefully listening to everything my wife and I had to say before, during, and after the completion of work, and confirming we were on the same page throughout. Kyu is a true professional, very knowledgeable and down to earth, as well as just being a nice man and easy to work with. I am SO happy with the results of the project and MHX Designs. Their workmanship is absolutely beautiful and everyone on their team takes great pride in their work. Even our neighbors noticed the quality of the siding, windows, and chimney work. We chose MHX Designs to renovate the exterior of my parents' 30-year-old house. The siding, windows, and trim all needed to be replaced. The chimney needed repairs and stucco resurfacing. This was a very big job that required careful planning and coordination. MHX Designs met with me and explained in detail all the different types of repairs that would be needed, the approximate timeline, the different types of window/siding products, and any potential unforeseen repairs that may be needed. We interacted extensively with Q Om, before, during, and after the renovation job. Q also identified some additional minor repairs that we had not noticed before. The cost and scope of each aspect of the job was explained in great detail in their quote, which also included a very helpful graphical model of what the final product would look like. After we signed the contract, Q kept me up-to-date on the manufacturing of all the replacement hardware, along with updates on when the work would commence. In the end, MHX actually started the job (and concluded) a bit earlier than anticipated. The on-site teams were led by Claudio, Angel, Abenamar, and Mark, with Q managing the overall project. The renovations went very smoothly, including some minor repairs that were anticipated given the age and pre-existing damage to some of the siding. The entire MHX team communicated frequently and made sure that we were happy with every step of the job. Our house was brought up to modern building codes, with more energy-efficient windows. Q promised that we would be happy with the final renovation, and he and his team delivered on this promise! I would recommend MHX Designs without hesitation or reservation. Our scope of work was large, and while our project did not go off flawlessly (do they ever), what impressed us was the professionalism and transparency that MHX demonstrated when issues did arise. We haven't had any issues with work they performed, but we know that, if we did, MHX ensure that great outcome that they delivered is a lasting outcome for our family. We researched contractors and based on reviews narrowed down to three and then to one – MHX Designs. It’s tough finding a contractor that is customer service oriented, knowledgeable, and responsive. MHX Designs not only exceeded our expectations, but they “knocked it out of the park”. Everyone from MHX that we had any contact with exuded friendliness, professionalism and were subject matter experts. They were AWESOME!! We were impressed by the entire team! Mike the salesman was straight forward and had many project suggestions, most of which we hadn’t earlier thought of, but decided to act upon. Our house was built using foam sheathing thirty years ago. It was always drafty and energy inefficient. We decided to have MHX Designs remove the foam sheathing once the old siding was off and install plywood sheathing as a proper base for the new siding. Tae and Tony’s crew worked diligently and meticulously on our home. He and his crew also had suggestions that we were delighted to implement as well as we had some other changes we made at the last minute. Tony and crew adapted and professionally accomplished all with pleasantness and expertise. We also decided – based on how pleased we were MHX Design’s performance – to add some deck remodeling to the project. Enter Claudio, a detailed expert who designed a solution to our request. Claudio is a thorough, thoughtful, friendly, and meticulous supervisor who made sure we are getting exactly what we envisioned. We unfortunately (for Claudio) threw some “curve balls” during the deck renovation that Claudio implemented without skipping a beat or getting stressed. The mechanic, Ubaldo, and his crew were just like Tony and his team – experts who accomplished all with affability and professionalism. Like any big projects, there were a few minor “punch list” items to clean up at the end. The sign of a great contractor is how well they respond. They were fantastic! One of the co-owners – Mark – was not only involved throughout the entire project, but was nothing short of incredible with his responsiveness, expertise and follow through. The bottom line is we are absolutely impressed with MHX Designs and intend on hiring them again for future projects. Wish I could give them 6 stars. The MHX experience was great from the start to finish. Mike C. was extremely consultative and not pushy throughout the design and estimate process. They provided us with renderings that gave us a heightened sense of comfort on the investment we were about to make. Then we met the MHX production team Mark and Claudio. These gentlemen are extremely detailed oriented and knowledgeable in their approach and recommendations. A few weeks later our project (new siding, new windows, and new doors) started, and we got to meet the rest of the MHX team. Kevin, who was responsible for creating a new opening for a new door and window was extremely detail oriented and respectful of our home. He took his shoes off each time he came into the house and greeted our dogs as if they were his own. Angel’s crew is the hardest working, polite and caring group of people. At the end of each day these gentlemen would spend 45-60 mins straightening up and cleaning up the exterior of the house. Lastly, you can tell a lot about an organization based on how leadership treats their team. Each time Mark, Q, Claudio, and Tae showed up to the house they greeted and engaged with each of their team members. We received quotes from several contractors in the Doylestown, PA area and MHX was by far the most impressive organization from the initial visit to the completed product! From the... read moreWe rely heavily on referrals for our home projects but when we needed to replace wood siding, windows and gutters at our 30 year old home we found it difficult to find an expert in Hardie board so we went to the Hardie website and discovered MHX Designs. From the moment we first met with Mike to discuss the scope of our large project, we knew we were in good hands as he took time to understand not only the physical attributes of our project, but also our family dynamics and schedules that needed to be worked around. The project proposal was very professional and included numerous options that we reviewed and there was never any pressure applied to make a hasty decision or to buy more than we needed. Mike is a true pro and delivered on everything we discussed including his extra effort to match the existing 30 yr old locally sourced stone to a new section of the home. The on-site managers and workers were beyond friendly and went out of their way to leave our home in a clean and comfortable condition every night during a long project timeline. By the end of the project Mark, Claudio, Jose and their entire team felt like part of the family and most importantly, the house looks like it was just built.
